Plus, good thing I always wait for my dash to have the blue light to disappear everytime before I drive, that’s like warming up a lawn mower when you turn it on for a cold start, wait for a couple of minutes before you start cutting grass, same thing as a car

Thanks for the info. However, once the blue light was turning on / off intermittently when I had driven for more than 30 KM in my Mazda 6 2018 model. What could it mean?

It means “the key is sinking in the river”

The way this works is actually pretty cool. The car itself generates enough of an electromagnetic field around the START button to provide a small amount of power to the fob, just enough to "read" the fob's data. It's the same principle that makes proximity card readers work. My Nissan actually has a special slot for the fob to go into if the battery is dead.

How do I adjust the settings so that the door will not unlock when pulling on the handle? I want to have it set so that the door will only unlock with the fob.

It is ridiculous that you have to have the engine running to do this. No reason that they couldn't have made it work in the accessory setting.

2024 Crosstrek - Pre-collision set to on, but does NOT seem to work for all objects in front of the vehicle. Pulling into a parking space with a post, the system does not warn of the object. It does work on vehicles, but that's all.

thanks I have an old USB port. That port will not corrupt the navigation system will it? would the method using this USB port be problem free. My USB port is 128 MB. Has files on it but you said not to worry about that because the download will erase everything on my USB port which is good with me

What I couldnt get is why is become blue always whenever I start engine after I switch off engine for long. How to fix it? Since its become blue n being cold. Something off and need to fix right? When normal car are not having blue signal at all? Pls explain me if anyone can? We are grateful for this wonderful service and cannot thank you enough for this once-in-a-lifetime experience! It was wonderful to be honored after all these years with the negative memories of how we Vietnam veterans were treated when we came home. We were spit upon and disrespected. Compare that to the way the military is honored these days when they come off deployment. You made up for it and I never knew I needed that closure. It was an emotional experience.
